Owner/Therapist

I am a clinical social worker/therapist based in McKinney Texas with over 18 years of experience. If you are looking for a therapist with passion, enthusiasm, and expertise you’ve come to the right place!

The term “ pleasure pusher” speaks to the magnitude of my passion to help people address sexually distressing issues to improve their sexual health and well-being. I am always pushing the agenda of experiencing pleasure, sexual health and the importance of how to communicate sexual needs.

Let’s start from the beginning…

My career started in Cleveland, Ohio in 1999 when I graduated with my master's degree in Applied Social Sciences. I was eager to positively impact the lives of people who needed help. I provided individual and group therapy and case management in an outpatient setting with female ex-offenders with the goal to address issues of addiction, sexual abuse, and mental health.

My career path has included working with children and teachers in schools, the geriatric population in nursing homes and home health care. I’ve spent the last 6 years of my career at the VA North Texas Health Care System.

My love for mentoring and supporting the clinical growth and development of clinical social workers began in 2005 when I became a board-certified supervisor for the Social Work board in the state of Ohio. After moving to the State of Texas I became a board-certified supervisor in 2015.

Why do you specialize in sex therapy?

I hear this question often. My answer is simple, “WHY NOT!”

We are all sexual beings and this vital aspect of self is often ignored. Sex is a topic that is often whispered about instead of talked about openly. I am passionate about helping people improve their sex life and learn who they are sexually. I know what it is like to grow up not understanding sexual health and anatomy. This has a direct impact on relationships and the ability to communicate sexual needs. You are not alone, there are many who struggle to understand their sexual selves.

It’s time to dig deeper…..

My background and training as a therapist has provided me with a wealth of experience addressing issues of depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, and personality disorders. My desire to dig deeper into sexual health and specialize in sex therapy led me to the Buehler Institute in Orange County, California for advanced courses in sexual health and pleasure in 2018. I am LGBTQIA-friendly, kink-aware, poly-friendly and sex-positive!

Are you ready for more pleasure? More intimacy? More orgasms?
